The world of butt nuts

I do my blogging out of a coffee house now that I moved away from available wireless. I hate the coffee shop. The cafe with donuts is a great place to work: donuts, sun light, and a working man's clientele. This coffee shop is filled with dudes. They even exclaim, "Dude!" when they see a fellow dude.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend of mine. He pointed out the realization one gets, that adults are not a separate species. That parents, politicians, educators, workers, and so on--all have the same level of sentience as one's self, and they possess no unique wisdom or world view beyond your grasp. This observation of his struck me as very true. Today I realize that it is now the kids that I cannot relate to. When I see some dude skating around I immediately think, "Dumbass". When I see youthful haircuts "fo-hawks", dreads, long hair, etc. I again think "Dumbass". I just feel awkward for them and for me. It is kinda like when I look at photos of Teen-Professor and I cringe.

Also what is with these "fake dog tags" I'm seeing among the hip hop crowds?
